Daniel Zehnder, aka “derpianist.ch”, has been actively involved in the world of notes, keys and tone since he was in kindergarten. He is a pianist with passion.

1984- 2000 O Lessons at the Gürbental music school
Since 1994 Member of various bands and participant in a range of musical projects
Since 1996 First steps in the providing musical accompaniment at weddings and birthday celebrations
2000- 2006 Autonomous education and training in bar piano, background music and entertainment
2005 Founding of “derpianist.ch”
2006- 2008 Studying jazz harmony and improvisation under Lorenz Schaller
2008- 2012 Education and Training at the Swiss Jazz School in Berne under Stewy von Wattenwyl
